Barge Unloading

Northwin Environmental in conjunction with Upland Contracting was tasked by Rio Tinto for the barging, transport and disposal of approx. 50,000 tons of drill muck, waste concrete and material from the successful completion of the Kemano tunnels. This project had required observance of very difficult timelines due to barge schedules and client timelines. There were no incidents of either injuries or vehicle accidents as a result of almost 9 months of the project life.
