Northwin Environmental in cooperation with Heiltsuk Horizons, Canadian Coast Guard and Campbell River Marine Terminals has taken delivery for disposal of various derelict and abandoned boats including commercial fishing boats, commercial working boats and pleasure crafts. This initiative supported by grants from the Federal Government allows for the safe removal of vessels that are a danger to navigation and pose environmental threats. All vessels have all fuels, oils and contaminants removed prior to acceptance and all recyclable material is removed prior to disposal.
