Sewage Unloading

Northwin Environmental in partnership with Heiltsuk Horizons facilitated the supply of several large storage tanks for the removal of sewage and solids from facilities all along the coast. The tanks were loaded onto a barge and with Heiltsuk Horizons tug the barge visited many isolated communities which rely on their sewage treatment systems for safety and environmental protection. Once at our partnering terminal, the tanks were pumped out and all material taken to the Sewage Treatment System owned by the City of Campbell River for disposal.
